Beschreibung

Myosin heavy chain 11 (MYH11) ist ein Myosin der glatten Muskulatur und eine Untereinheit eines hexameren Proteins, das aus zwei Untereinheiten der schweren Kette und zwei Untereinheiten der leichten Kette besteht. Es fungiert als ein wichtiges kontraktiles Protein. MYH11 hat sich als nützlicher Marker für die Differenzierung von Myoepithelzellen und glatten Muskelzellen erwiesen.
