Beschreibung

Podoplanin ist ein integrales Typ-I-Membranglykoprotein, das selektiv im lymphatischen Endothel exprimiert wird. Die genaue molekulare Funktion von Podoplanin im lymphatischen Endothel ist noch unklar. Dieser Antikörper weist Lymphangiome, Kaposi-Sarkome und eine Untergruppe von Angiosarkomen mit wahrscheinlich lymphatischer Differenzierung nach.
